Simantonnayan Sanskar

मातृत्व के सुख को सीमन्तोन्नयन संस्कार के साथ मनाएं। सीमन्त शब्द का अर्थ है मस्तिष्क और उन्नयन शब्द का अर्थ है विकास। पुंसवन संस्कार शारीरिक विकास के लिए होता है तो यह मानसिक विकास के लिए किया जाता है। इस संस्कार का समय गर्भावस्था के चतुर्थ माह, चौथे में न कर पाए तो छठे, इसमें भी नहीं कर पाए तो आठवें माह में कर सकते हैं।

While the Punsavan Sanskar is performed for physical development, the Simantonayan Sanskar is performed for mental development. If the timing for this ritual cannot be achieved in the fourth month of pregnancy, it can be performed in the sixth month, and if not possible then, it can be done in the eighth month.
