Chudakarm Sanskar

चूडाकर्म संस्कार या मुण्डन संस्कार का उद्देश्य है शिशु के प्रथम केशों के छेदन के द्वारा रोगरहित उत्तम समृद्ध ब्रह्मगुणमय आयु और समृद्धि-भावना की प्राप्ति करना। इसे जन्म से तीसरे वर्ष या एक वर्ष में करना चाहिए। बच्चे के दांत आमतौर पर छः से सात माह की आयु में निकलना शुरू होते हैं और ढाई-तीन वर्ष की आयु तक निकलते रहते हैं।
जब दांत निकलते हैं, तो सिर भारी हो जाता है, गर्मी महसूस होती है, सिर में दर्द होता है, मसूड़े सूज जाते हैं, लार बहती है, दस्त लगते हैं, आंखों में आंखें आ जाती हैं, और बच्चा चिड़चिड़ा हो जाता है। दांतों का भारी प्रभाव सिर पर होता है। इसलिए, इस संस्कार का उद्देश्य सिर को हल्का और ठंडा रखने के लिए बच्चे के सिर पर बालों का बोझ उतार देना है।

The purpose of the Chudakarm Sanskar, also known as the Mundan Sanskar, is to remove the burden of hair from the child's head in order to attain a healthy, prosperous, and spiritually inclined life. This ceremony is usually performed between the birth and third year or within the first year. The child's teeth typically start to emerge around six to seven months of age and continue to erupt until the age of two or three.
During the teething process, the head feels heavy, there is a sense of warmth, pain in the head, swollen gums, excessive salivation, diarrhea, watery eyes, and the child becomes irritable. The impact of the emerging teeth is felt on the head. Therefore, the purpose of this ceremony is to lighten and cool the head by removing the weight of hair from the child's head.
